Anyway, sit back and enjoy it ;).
Yes, the final day have arrive a day before submission. Double checking the DVDs and all. Have been burning the DVDs for four times as the 1st one I used the wrong DVD, 2nd there was a shot of missing texture and finally everything perfect! One-sheets printing was easy, next DVD cover just some slight adjustment. But the horror was printing the DVD Disc Cover. Thanks to my friends and after many prints, finally everything was prepared for the big day.
I have been given suggestions from my friends to create a chinese title from my current “Cheriscus” title. So yes, I have created the chinese title by combining the chinese version of cheery blossom and hibiscus. So here I present you all my final one-sheet, DVD case Cover and disc cover.
Here’s the song I have made. It didn’t give me the exact feeling I want and I am not really that happy with the song. I can say I was a bit sad, but I can say I tried? So in the end will be sticking back to the original song, Ballad of North Henan Province performed by Yu Hong Mei.
I manage to finish the music but I failed… even after adding in effects and also different instruments it doesn’t sound like the music I want. After all my hard work I can just say harp can’t substitute the Chinese instruments. Now I am feeling depress. Well, will have to use back the original song and credit the musician for using her song.
I have recompose music. However, it doesn’t really sound that good compare to the original one. It is quite hard to catch the pitch and sound of a traditional play Chinese instrument. It is quite hard to catch the correct tune. Anyway, will try again tomorrow.
